InWEnt stands for Internationale Weiterbildung und Entwicklung gGmbH or Capacity Building International, Germany.
It was established in 2002 through the merger of the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft e.V. (CDG) and the German Foundation for International Development (DSE).
InWEnt stands for the development of human resources and organizations in the context of international cooperation. Because competence and the ability to act appropriately involve far more than mere factual knowledge, InWEnt's advanced training courses
are practice-oriented aimed at technical experts, managers and decision makers from business, politics, administration and civil societies worldwide. Each year some 55,000 persons participate in our programs.
At the end of each training program, we continue to support former participants through our alumni networks and e-learning services. This helps them apply their newly acquired skills and competencies as well as provide the appropriate venue for international
and inter-regional exchange of experiences and knowledge. |
