International Long-term Training on
Social Security
The training is for young professionals from Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam with background and relevant practical experience in the field of social
security (including ministries, insurance
companies, various associations in the field of social security).
The course is designed to enable leading personnel in the field of social security in partner countries to become familiar with modern management instruments (including business and administration procedures, mathematics and IT tools) and to learn about effective macro policies and strategies in the social sector. Individual achievements in the Long-term Training will benefit effective, efficient and needs-oriented management in governmental policy making, insurance-, health care and pension systems management. The participants are supposed to take on a multiplier role in implementing reform in the social security sector in their home countries in the southeast Asian region.
The participant must:
• be fluent in English;
• undertake the mandatory German courses for all participants
• have a qualified academic background;
• have practical experience of at least 3-5 years;
• have the support of employing national (public/ private) institution;
• be physically fit; and
• have passed the TOEFL.
