InWEnt Regional Office Manila serves as InWEnt's coordinating and project office for Philippines, Indonesia and
Thailand. It establishes and maintains network with partners in the region and supports InWEnt headquarters in the development and implementation of projects in Germany and in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to the merger of the Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft e.V. (CDG) and the German Foundation for International Development (DSE) which gave birth to InWEnt in 2002, InWEnt has long been present in the Philippines. It was
initially established in 1999 under the name of CDG.
Other InWEnt Regional Offices are in Hanoi (for Vietnam , Laos and Cambodia ), Beijing (for China ), Pretoria (for Southern Africa), Lima (for the Anden countries), Sao Paulo (for Brazil ), Dar Es Salam (for Tanzania ), Managua (for Central America), Cairo (for Egypt ). |
