RED (Regional Economic Development) Expert
Long Term Training Course in Germany starts in September
A programme to qualify and enable junior executives from public and private institutions to introduce, practise and impart services of coordination and advice in the context of the sustainable business development approach. The advanced training programme is practice-oriented and focuses on strategies, tools and projects which will be adapted to the specific framework conditions in South-East Asia. The project will be realized in the format of a long-term training in Germany with additional preparatory and follow-up modules.

The programme is for junior executives from partner organiza-tions of GTZ projects in the field of regional economic development as well as to related industry asso-ciations, chambers, universities and consulting companies. You should have a university degree in an economic field of study. Also, you are required to have a mini-mum of two (2) years of profes-sional experience in an institution promoting regional economic development.

country you are employed on a regular basis and hold the position of a junior executive. Your employer supports your advanced professional training plans and supplies you with a written statement guaranteeing your professional reintegration. If you have a family, their support in your home country during your stay in Germany must be ensured. Furthermore, you are under obligation to return to your home country without delay upon completing your programme in order to make use of your new abilities and pass them on at work.
The advanced professional training programme is to provide the possibility of acquiring additional specialized skills. The programme is custom-made to meet the specific demands of professionals. A formal degree is not awarded. You will receive an official certificate issued by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), confirming your successful participation, and further certificates for your individual and practical training..
