A program for staff members from NGOs and from various institutions in Aceh , Indonesia .
Objectives
Competences of senior and junior management in the health sector and the related advanced training institutions are furthered jointly with health care educational institutions like the Graduate School of Public Health, University of Sumatra Utara , and the Syiah Kuala University in Banda Aceh. A better public and private health care provision management promotes the acceptance of decentralisation and gives health care services the opportunity to improve the medical care of poor population groups.
This project mainly follows two objectives:
• .to strengthen the executive competencies of decision makers in health care institutions
...and to enhance the methodological competence of advanced training facilities active in the
...health care sector; and
• .to support the improvement of basic health care on the district level and modernization of
...health care system on the province level by consulting and training.
Contents. The Capacity Building - Interventions of InWEnt are mostly targeted on improvement of medicare at non-medical areas.
InWEnt is experienced in this field of activiy, sustains on this basis local health care missions like Human Resources Management, Epidemiology, Management and Finance.
The main issue at the Province Level is Health Care System Financing.
Methods. Mostly training but also symposia and cross-visits.
This training course is financed by Germany 's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. |
